Biography
Glori Bond is the founding attorney of The Bond Legal Group LLC, where she focuses on providing strategic legal solutions in complex business litigation, real estate, family law, traffic, and civil rights cases. With a strong passion for advocacy, Glori prides herself on delivering results tailored to the unique needs of her clients, from individuals to city governments and municipalities.
Her legal career has been defined by tackling challenging cases that require innovative problem-solving. Glori thrives on the complexity of litigation, appreciating that no two cases are ever the same. Her dedication to justice is exemplified by her work on high-profile police brutality, excessive force, and civil rights claims. Glori knows that litigation does not have a one-size fits all solution and finds that each case has a unique set of complex issues and facts.
Before establishing her own practice, Glori served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Municipal Litigation Unit of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. In this role, she represented elected Cook County officials and their offices in a variety of litigation matters. She also managed the Building and Zoning Circuit Court Call for Cook County that supported over 2,000 active cases. Amid the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, she was promoted to Supervisor of the FOIA Unit, where she built and led a team from the ground up, handling high-profile and sensitive matters while implementing new processes and technology.
Glori has also been featured as legal analyst on Tv One’s Payback, Fatal Attraction and For my Man.
Glori began her legal journey as a real estate paralegal, gaining hands-on experience in both commercial and residential real estate transactions. She worked across state agencies and private firms, managing real estate matters from initiation to completion.
Glori holds a B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University, a certificate in Legal Studies from Loyola University Chicago, and a J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. Her diverse background and proven leadership have shaped her into a well-rounded advocate dedicated to achieving meaningful outcomes for her clients.
